Nyandarua County Government has acquired a modern ambulance with all critical equipment in a bid to stabilize and manage critical patients requiring evacuation and emergency support.
Flagging off the ambulance, Governor Moses Kiarie Badilisha said that his administration’s interventions in healthcare management are targeted and very intentional.
He promised to reform the health sector and ensure the services get better by the day as reflected in the increased number of patients in most facilities within the county.
He added that the ambulance will be a quick hack in ensuring patients are rescued on time or taken to referral hospitals in Nakuru or Nairobi whenever possible.
He said that he has plans to ensure every sub-county acquires a new ambulance saying that health is one of the critical sectors he wants to improve in the region.
