The Ultimate Challenge For Marathon Legend Kipchoge

Eliud Kipchoge, a legendary marathon runner, is set to compete in what may be his final
Olympic Games in Paris 2024. At 39, he aims to make history by becoming the first to win three
consecutive Olympic marathons, surpassing greats like Abebe Bikila and Waldemar Cierpinski.
Kipchoge’s career began in Paris in 2003, where he won the 5,000 meters world championship.
He later achieved global fame by breaking the marathon world record twice and running a
marathon in under two hours. Since 2013, he has won 16 of 20 marathons, including two
Olympic titles and multiple ‘Majors’ victories.
Raised in a community where running is a way of life, Kipchoge was initially unaware of his
potential. Influenced by his mentor Patrick Sang, he developed into a top athlete. Despite recent
challenges and controversies, including false accusations after a fellow athlete’s death, Kipchoge
remains focused on making history once again, fulfilling a dream that he and his coach believe
he has already achieved
