Police in Parklands, Nairobi today August 15, 2023, recovered twelve million nine hundred and seventy-five thousand Kenyan Shillings (Kshs. 12, 975,000/=) and suspected marijuana substances following a multi-agency operation at Kariwa Slums in Ngara.
During the crackdown, four suspects namely, Eugene Jumba, Hillary Jumbo, Sheila Withers and Teresa Wanjiru were arrested with 26 bags of Cannabis Sativa (Marijuana), four cartons of rolling materials, 173 pieces of suspected blended drug/bhang, 42 cartons each containing 200 pieces of cigarettes. The case is under investigation by the DCI Anti-Narcotics Unit.
