Canadian rapper Drake shared a video on Tuesday of his waterlogged mansion in Toronto
following a heavy rainstorm that caused widespread flooding and power outages in the city.
“This better be Espresso Martini,” Drake joked on Instagram, showing murky brown water
flowing into a room. Drake’s home, known as “The Embassy,” is located in Toronto’s luxury
Bridle Path neighborhood.
The rainstorm brought more rainfall in a four-hour period than Toronto’s average for the entire
month of July. The deluge submerged city streets, closed highways and subway stations, and left
tens of thousands of residents without power.
